Description |
The birth of baby is a life transforming experience for
most people. The Postpartum Care Package offers support
through the transformation. This makes a great gift idea.
Three visits, in your home or in my office:
1) Schedule during the fist week of your babies life.
Individual assessment of your needs will be done. Perhaps
you need breastfeeding support, have questions about caring
for a newborn? Whatever it is, having trained and
experienced support helps you have confidence when most new
mothers and fathers are searching for helpful suggestions.
2) Schedule week six. Usually babies are going through a
growth spurt at six weeks and many milestones are reached.
Support during this change is essential. If breastfeeding
is going well we can focus on other other newborn topics.
If breastfeeding is a struggle, it is recommended you
reschedule this visit earlier. Often this is a good time to
revisit the birth experience and re-live the joy or process
any experiences that weren’t expected.
3) Schedule this visit at three months. As your baby
transitions out of the newborn phase and moves into a
bouncing, smiling three month old baby, you will be
adjusting once again. Support through these transitions is
essential. Sleep tips. Breastfeeding. Family adjustment.
